Parkway House

Area: 250 sqm

Location: Quezon City

Status: Completed, 2024

Team: Ar. Jaime Recto, Ar. Deeno Singson, Ar. Maxine Bersamira

One of our favorite renovation projects to date, the Parkway House beautifully blends traditional sensibilities with contemporary style. Our challenge was to revitalize one side of this classic duplex while honoring its original character. By preserving the organized architectural composition and continuing the distinctive exposed aggregate wall finish, we brought new life to the space without losing its essence. Some of the materials used in the project were steel, shell aggregate concrete, wood-plastic composite planks, solid wood, and adobe tiles.

Despite the ups and downs of the construction journey, knowing that they truly love their home—especially how comfortable and breezy it feels even in the height of summer—makes every challenge worth it. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.
